CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY
As you are a consumer you may cancel your order within 30 days upon reception of the good and obtain a refund. Note that it is not possible to cancel an order after dispatch and before reception due to delays caused by the transport companies or delays in customs. In case you have purchased items from us and you didn't receive them or the item got lost, we reship the items to you on our own costs.
It is also not possible to return items purchased online to any of our partner retailed location. If you made your purchase through a partnered retail location, such as a perfumery or department store, then any return will need to be made in accordance with the return/cancellation policy of the relevant retailer and should not be returned directly to us.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@folie-imposee.de and send your item to: Folie Imposée UG, Mittenwalderstrasse 44, 10961 Berlin, Germany.
We hope that you are happy with your order, but if for some reason you are not, below are the steps to return a product.
1. Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Folie Imposée UG, Mittenwalderstrasse 44, 10961 Berlin, Germany.
Note that all items must be returned unused, with authentic labels and in original packaging. If goods returned are not in a re-sellable condition, we may not accept your return. Any promotional gifts received with your purchase must also be returned. Your right to return goods does not apply to goods made to your specification, or which have been clearly personalized, or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or where sealed goods have been supplied which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Please ensure you receive proof of postage or delivery. We are responsible for your parcel only once it has been received by us. Items lost in transit will not be treated as returned, and cannot be exchanged or refunded. Customers wishing to return fragrance items should have regard to any labelling and packaging guidelines produced by your zone's postal service or any other courier that is used. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Online Store cannot accept returns where labels have been removed or products opened. In the case of a product broken during transportation, please send a photo proof to sales@folie-imposee.com.
2. Refund
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Refunds for returned merchandise will be made within two weeks of the return of the product, to the original purchaser’s credit card. Note that additional duties and/or taxes will not be refunded. For countries within the EU, VAT will be included in the refund. All exchanges are subject to availability. Faulty items will be replaced by the same type of product, subject to availability. Refunds for faulty items can be made within the 30-day period following delivery.
It takes up to two weeks to process returns and credit your account.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@folie-imposee.com.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
